This Fort Worth Stockyards engagement session was perfect, as Marco and Nichole have had a love story for the books. They first met in Florida, through what some might call divine intervention (more on that in a minute!). After they got engaged, they knew Texas was their home.

To celebrate their move to Dallas, they chose to commemorate their engagement with a session at the Fort Worth Stockyards — the most Texan place this side of Texas!

Their Love Story

This love story is full to the brim with fate. Speaking to Nichole she shared that her mother, who loved a little mischief, had passed not long before Nichole met Marco. But that fated day in Florida, Nichole is sure her mom had a hand in putting them in line next to one another.

Arranging things from Heaven, Nichole’s mom must have known that Marco checked all Nichole’s boxes for what she wanted in a future husband! And we know she’s smiling down, knowing that her daughter is so happy.

With this beautiful romance comes an even more beautiful wedding day! Marco and Nichole will be tying the knot Texas style just around the corner from their engagement session. I can’t wait to see them in a few short months, right here at the River Ranch Stockyards.

A Fort Worth Stockyards Engagement Session for the books

Marco and Nichole loved the idea of the Stockyards and the Drover Hotel. They’ve spent many evenings exploring this side of DFW, having fun and dancing the night away!

So we started off in the classic Stockyards area and explored some of the back areas I’ve never seen before.

It was so special to witness how much Marco adored his future bride as they took photos throughout the day. Plus the golden hour light gave us all the feels as we ended our session in the cactus gardens. It truly felt like a fairytale ending!

And, of course, with Marco being a Marine, we couldn’t forget to grab his signature shot of him doing pullups. Plus Nichole had her favorite pose — jumping for joy!
