Prairie Creek Park is the perfect setting for a romantic engagement shoot! Romantic walking paths surrounded by trees, a pretty waterfall and lots of cute spots for perfect photo ops!
One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is having a unique way to celebrate and support couples. Eli and I met as coworkers at the animal clinic I part time at. So I got to be there through the beginning of her relationship with Trey until now!
The best part of engagement sessions (in my opinion) is getting to have fun! It gives your photographer the opportunity to get you comfortable in front of the camera and also get to know you as a couple to get the best shots possible on wedding day. Engagement sessions are also the perfect time to get to know some of your photographer’s poses that you’ll reuse on wedding day! That way, on wedding day, you’ll be able to zoom through photos and get right back to the party!
It is also a great way to give yourselves a fun date night in the middle of wedding planning! I always encourage my couples to go on a dinner date while they’re dressed up to celebrate their relationship and take a break from the planning.
Prairie Creek Park in Richardson is a gorgeous park filled with walking trails, and a very popular waterfall. As the trails wind through a wooded area, there’s lots of spots to grab some intimate photos without people. Especially since the waterfall is a beautiful, but popular spot for photographers and visitors alike!
Plus! Sometimes you get fun things like walk-by photobombers who are just plain fun!
