A celebration of second chances, brought together by love on display at a Camp Lucy Dripping Springs wedding.
Love is not just about the big lavish wedding, the expensive gowns or the grandeur of the event. Sometimes, love is about being with those closest to your heart. Those that will support and lift you up in the snap of a finger. This was the case for April and Will who celebrated their wedding day in a small, intimate ceremony at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas.
It was not just a day to celebrate their union, but it was also a commemoration of second chances, redemption and the unwavering loyalty of their ride or die friends who traveled halfway across the country to witness their wedding.
Every couple has a unique vision for their day. April came to me with a vision for an intimate wedding. Including only their immediate family and closest friends present to commemorate their second chance at love.
In such an intimate setting, family and friends play such a significant role. Coming together, April’s two daughters and Will’s three sons stood by as their bridal party. Their best friends were there to witness their union and celebrate with them for the whole weekend! And their ceremony, and the way that April and Will showed their love for one another, was a reminder that love is about the support and care of those closest to use that adds the most meaning to love.
Camp Lucy is a beautiful venue tucked into the hills in Dripping Springs Texas. We made the most of our time for couple’s portraits getting some gorgeous photos of April and Will during golden hour. The sun peeking through trees and all around us filled the heart with a sense of wonder and awe.
And, of course, we couldn’t resist ducking out for a few magical nighttime photos in the vineyard too!
Capturing April and Will’s intimate wedding with the scenic backdrop of Dripping Springs, was truly a magical experience. It is evident how much love, companionship and passion they shared for one another. It was also a reminder of the power of love, support and loyalty. Reminding us all that sometimes the most important things in life are the smallest, the things that spark joy within our hearts.
A small, intimate wedding like April and Will’s, surrounded by nature and family, can be just as magical and meaningful as the grandest event.
