We take you back, back to the scene where he popped the question at Longwood Gardens.

I’ve known Seth and Ashley for what feels like years.

Seth was one of those guys who you can’t help but laugh at his jokes during our college bible study, and you couldn’t help but wonder what kind of girl he’ll end up with.

And then in walks Ashley.

It wasn’t a pairing you’d immediately pick up on, but there was something absolutely undeniable there.

That became immediately evident on a hiking trip our small group of friends took that summer.

So much so that the group of us began discussing it on our way back down the mountain after not-so-subtly ditching the two of them to walk down the mountain together.

Through our cunning, and loving, plans the rest is history, or rather, their story!

He popped the question at Longwood Gardens on Christmas Eve in December, so it was only fitting that we did their Engagement Session in the same beautiful setting.

This time under their beautiful display of orchids!

As luck would have it, with Pennsylvania’s weird “can’t decide which season it actually is” weather gave us some tidbits of snow in March!
