The epitome of Christian College sometimes includes hammocks.

I met Cara studying at Cairn University together during my freshman year.

Cara is a beautiful human with a heart of gold! I was ecstatic when she met up with me at Starbucks to ask about engagement photos!

An adorable and fun-loving couple, Joel and Cara made the decision to incorporate who they are as a couple into their session.

From the camp where they met and their love of camping into a fabulously unique and fun engagement shoot which included their love of hammocking!

Seriously, what’s cuter than sweet humans in hammocks?!

There’s nothing I love more than really getting to display who a couple is through their engagement photos. It’s a time for them to relax, have fun and get some cute pictures leading up to their wedding!

It was quite the adventurous session!

From climbing trees for a better angle to Joel persuading some trees to bend a little more for us it was quite the experience. I promise, no trees came to fatal harm in the making of these photos. We also carted around on Go Karts and shared in laughs as we hiked, this session was such a blast!

We ended our session at the camp where Joel met Cara. It was also where he popped the question AND where they’ll be getting married in just a few short weeks!

Places can have such important meanings in our lives, and to get to bring everything full circle and capture it on film is a beautiful thing.

It’s also so meaningful to me when a couple invites me into such a significant place in their lives.
