Just outside of Dallas sits the sweet area of Little Elm, and my first backyard wedding after a recent move to Texas!
Mark and Kristen, surrounded by their family, turned a sweet backyard with a lake view into a beautiful venue for a darling backyard wedding.
After a unique meeting at Phlebotomy school, it was obvious how much love exists between Mark and Kristen.
I had a wonderful time spending the evening capturing their wedding and getting to know them, their sweet family and adorable boys!
Here’s just a few sweet snaps from their big day!
So many sweet pre-ceremony hugs shared between the bride and groom, mother and son and sisters!
And the most beautiful first-touch and quiet moment shared between the to-be-weds. Taking some time pre-ceremony to read a few Bible verses and pray together before their vows.
It was a beautiful ceremony, full of laughter and heartfelt moments.
What can I say? There will always be a special place in my heart for small weddings.
And of course, the sweet moments with the boys.
From smelling flowers, to the realization that the flowers on the cake were edible, to the bitter floral taste test of their own corsages and the sweet ending of getting to taste the sugar flowers…
…to the sweetest, most tear-jerking moment ever of “Mom! You’re married. Dad is officially our Dad!”
It was a beautiful, family-filled day! Congrats Mark and Kristen!
