Richard and Marie are some of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, so their small gather of close friends and family at their Westlake House wedding was the perfect fit!
Lake Highlands Flowers did an incredible job decorating the gazebo for the ceremony, and all the florals for the wedding. It perfectly aligned with Marie’s vision for a purple wedding!
Just take a peek at some of the stunning details for their wedding with some of the most stunning purple floral arrangements I’ve ever seen!
First looks are one of my personal favorite times on a wedding day. Such a sweet moment where the bride and groom get to see each other in a quiet moment all to themselves.
The porch at the Westlake House was the perfect spot for Richard and Marie to do their first look! They also wrote one another the sweetest letters and exchanged personal gifts. It was such a beautiful moment to start their wedding day.
Even with high humidity glistening, any rainy weather held off for Richard and Marie’s beautiful ceremony. Complete with their little pet beagle, Angel, in the processional!
Speaking of perfect purple weddings, this cake was absolutely EVERYTHING! Including the cake that they cut with Richard’s saber as an army officer for their first cake slice as husband and wife. I’ll admit, this is the first wedding that I’ve ever seen purple cake, but it was so yummy!
And, of course, ending our time together for this brunch wedding, was spent taking some photos and making memories with the newlyweds around Westlake Park!
Take a peek at Richard and Marie’s engagement session at Westlake Park for some more cute shots!
Special thanks to the staff and park managers of Westlake House & Park for these beautiful accomodations!
All the special shoutouts to Renarldo with Lake Highlands Flowers for the most beautiful florals!
